The Hoover Steamvac Dual V is really easy to use. It has a special rinse feature to help you get all the soap out of your carpet, and you can use it as often as needed to get every bit of dirt out. Using warm or even hot water will be more effective than cold water. Be sure and follow the instructions in the manual to make sure you are using the machine correctly. This will make a difference in how long your machine continues to work properly. With the right care, your Hoover will last you for several years. It is useful for removing pet stains, food stains, crayons and almost anything else that can dirty your carpet. Adding a little vinegar to your water will help alleviate pet smells, too. By the time you've vacuumed up your water and soap, your carpet is practically dry. Any dampness that is left over dries in a couple of hours rather than the days it may take with a commercial cleaner. The one year limited warranty comes in handy if anything goes wrong.
The Hoover Steamvac Dual V has a one gallon water tank that will need to be filled and dumped repeatedly during your cleaning jobs, but then if the tank were larger, the machine would become unwieldy. Cleaning the machine afterwards can be a bit of a chore, but your cleaner will last longer if you take care of it right away. Heavy duty stains can be given a pre-treatment to help loosen the stain. Some customers consider the motor to be a bit loud, but it is still efficient. The price is fair for what it does in your home. The V shaped suction is very strong, and produces good results.
